My Doctoral Journey
This is the hardest thing I have ever done. I feel alone! I have no support. My family does not even acknowledge the fact that I am even pursing my Ed.D. I am doing really good so far. I know that my degree is going to take me far! My goal is higher education. I would also like to continue research.

Keep your spirits up. My family has no clue how hard this is. None of them have even been to grad school before. It is hard for people to compare their experiences with ours because they have no fixed point of reference within this mode of thinking. People usually seek the simplest solution to a problem without considering the possible ramifications of the solutions.
ReplyDeleteThe thinking required in this program is just nothing like that. We seek to examine problems from multiple angles and employ different methods of analysis to determine a solution. There is nothing simple about it. Based on your discussion posts I would say you are doing just fine. Right now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it may still require some time, but we are about to enter the final stretch of this endeavor.
